This application has failed to start...

Have downloaded and installed the latest client - 2350a.

However, when launching, I get the following error message...

"C:\Program Files\Reverb Gaming\CDRom\SlideGamers.exe

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

Needless to say, it hasn't :P

Help?

(Thanks in advance for any help anyone is able to provide.)

I have not seen that error in ages, and doing a search on it shows all kinds of different answers. Most of which are really technically ugly :)

Perhaps you can supply some basic information. What operating system are you using, what version of dot net do you have installed, are you running the latest windows updates, did you install the program with an admin account, etc.

Basically speaking, we don't "register" anything on your system because we don't need to. You can take the files and extract them to a floppy, put them in another computer, and run it from the floppy. All the installer program does is just copies the files to the choosen folder and makes some menu entires.
